Passwordless connections allow users to log in without the need to remember a password. Instead, users enter their mobile phone number or email address and receive a one-time password (OTP) or link, which they can then use to log in.

To implement passwordless, you'll need to make two key decisions:
Which authentication factor(s) you want to support
Which login type you want to use

Introduction
OTP, or One-Time Password, verification is a security mechanism commonly used to authenticate users during the login process or when performing sensitive transactions. The fundamental idea is to provide a temporary and unique code that is sent to the user, typically via SMS, email, or through a dedicated authentication app. The user then enters this code to prove their identity.
Our Use Case (What we will be using it for….)
Login or Sign Up Process: OTP is often used in addition to traditional username and password combinations to add an extra layer of security. After entering the correct username and password, users receive an OTP to complete the login process.
Account Recovery (Password Reset)
In case users forget their passwords, OTPs are often used to verify their identity during the password recovery process.
